Historical victory for Congress in MC polls

Ferozepur: In Ferozepur, Darshan Rani from ward number 1, Navjot Kaur from ward number 2,  Kapil Kumar from ward number 6, Rachna from ward number 7, Parvinder Kumar from ward number 8, Rajesh Chanana from ward number 10, Jagrup Kaur from ward number 11, Ashok Sachdeva from ward number 12, Kashmir Singh from ward number 14, Praveen from ward number 17, Satwant Kaur from ward number 19, Aaqib Akhtar from ward number 20, Mamtra Rani from ward number 21, Rishi Sharma from ward number 23, Parminder Singh from ward number 24, Asha from ward number 25, Rohit Grover from ward number 26, in ward number 27 Yamini Sharma, in ward number 28 Michele Gachli, in ward number 29 Shivani, in ward number 30 Amarjit Kaur, in ward number 31 Surjit Singh, in ward number 32 Kamal Kumar, in ward number 33 Rajinder Kumar were declared as winners. All the winning candidates belong to Congress only.
Notably, in ward numbers 3, 4, 5, 9, 12, 13, 15, 16, 18 the Congress candidates were elected unopposed.
In Ferozepur all the 12 BJP candidates have lost
MUDKI
In Mudki, SAD candidates managed to secure victory in 8 out of 13 wards while Congress candidates won on 5 seats.
In ward number 1 Lakhwinder Kaur, in ward number 2 Mantar Singh (both Congress candidates), in ward number 3, in ward number Praveen Kaur, in ward number 6 Sewak Singh (all SAD candidates), in ward number 7 Sarbjit Kaur (Congress), in ward number 8 Davinder Kumar, in ward number 9 Gurjit Kaur, in ward number 10 Narinder Pal Kaur (All SAD candidates), in ward number 11 Jagir Singh Sekhon (Congress), in ward number 12 Mohinder Singh and in ward number 13 Sukhbir (both SAD candidates) secured victory.
Notably, from number 4 Roshan Lal Manchanda from Congress was elected unopposed before the elections.
TALWANDI BHAI
In Talwandi Bhai, Out of 13 wards Congress candidates  secured victory in ten wards while SAD candidates have won in two wards while in one ward AAP candidate has secured victory.
The name of the winner candidates from Talwandi Bhai are Anu Bajaj of Congress from ward number 1, Tarsem Singh from ward number 2, Rupinder Kaur from ward number 3 (all Congress candidates), Pritpal Singh (SAD) from ward number 4, Kulwinder (Congress) from ward number 5, Rupinder Singh (SAD) from ward number 6, Amarjit Kaur (Congress) from ward number 7, Narpreet Singh (AAP) from ward number 8, Kulwinder Kaur from ward number 9, Jagdeep Singh from ward number 10, Rakesh Kumar from ward number 11, Arti Dhingra from ward number 12 and Bhajan Singh from  ward number 13 (all Congress candidates) have secured victory.
Notably no BJP candidate could win in Talwandi Bhai. It is pertinent to mention here that the BJP candidates were contesting from ward number 1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 11 and 13.
GURHARSAHAI
In Guruharsahai, Congress candidates secured victory in all the 15 wards. In the result declared today, Gurmeet Kaur from ward number 3, Neelam Rani from ward number 4, Ekta Rani from ward number 5, Udik Chand from ward number 6, Jai Gopal from ward number 8, Attamjit Singh from ward number 10, Sharanjit Kaur from ward number 11, Radha Rani from ward number 13 were declared winner. Notably from ward number 1,2, 7, 9, 12, 14, 15, Congress candidates were elected unanimously.
MAMDOT
In Mamdot, Congress candidates won on 9 seats and SAD candidates secured victory on 2 seats.  Two Congress rebels who contested as independent candidates also won. As per information, In ward number 1 Mandeep Kaur, in ward number 3 Sukhwinder Kaur (both Congress), in ward number 4 Daljit Singh Bawa (Independent), in ward number 5 Anuradha Rani (Congress), in ward number 6 Surinder Kumar (SAD), in ward number 7 Alice (Congress), in ward number 8 Upinder Singh (Independent) , in ward number 12 Balwinder Singh (SAD), in ward number 13 Baj Singh (Congress) secured victory.
Notably, in ward number 2, 9, 10 and 11 Congress candidates were elected unopposed.
