Udaipur, June 24 (HS): The country's Home Minister, Amit Shah, will make the election conch shell in Rajasthan on June 30 from the land of Mewar. Under the programmes being organised by the BJP on the completion of nine years of the central government, a Lok Sabha convention is being held in Udaipur on June 30, which will be addressed by Home Minister Amit Shah. In view of Shah's arrival, preparations are being made on a large scale in the Udaipur Lok Sabha constituency. A target has been set for the presence of 50,000 people in the Mahajan Sabha to be held at Gandhi Ground in Udaipur at 10 a.m. on June 30.
In this regard, in a press conference organised at the BJP office in Patel Circle, Udaipur, on Saturday, BJP's Lok Sabha in-charge Pramod Samar said that there are 8 assembly constituencies in the Udaipur Lok Sabha constituency. In these, there are 659 gramme panchayats from an administrative point of view, and the BJP has 42 mandals. Three big domes of one lakh and 56 thousand square feet will be built at Gandhi Ground, the venue of the meeting. A platform of 60 x 100 feet will be made. The whole city will be decorated. 31 committees have been formed for various arrangements.
Samar said that in the nine years of the Modi government, gratitude will also be expressed for the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, the construction of Lord Shri Ram's temple in Ayodhya, the removal of triple talaq, the creation of a separate ministry for cooperation, etc. Lotus mehndi, lamp donation, honouring the beneficiaries of the schemes of the centre, Yuva-Kisan Choupal, Shramyogi Samman, student dialogue, bullet rally, human chain, etc.
In the press conference, MP Arjun Meena said that the Udaipur Lok Sabha seat has a large representation of tribal society. That's why there will be a large presence of tribal society. He said that it has rained in the Udaipur Lok Sabha constituency due to the schemes of the Centre. The biggest gift is rail projects in the entire southern Rajasthan, including Udaipur-Ahmedabad gauge conversion. Udaipur City Station is also getting an international look at a cost of 354 crore. After electrification, the connectivity of Udaipur will be done directly from Southern India. The Central Government has also gifted new highways to the Udaipur Lok Sabha constituency.
Taking a dig at the Congress, MP Meena said that the Congress always kept the tribals as weapons. The Indira Awas Yojana was started years ago, which CM Gehlot is not tired of enumerating; the MP asked him to give the figure till 2014, while after this, the Modi government has given one lakh and forty thousand new houses in the Udaipur Lok Sabha through the PM Awas Yojana. Out of 740 Eklavya Model Schools across the country, six were given in Udaipur Lok Sabha. In view of the suffering of the farmers, PM Modi made each revenue village a unit in the Crop Insurance Scheme, whereas earlier it was done at the tehsil level, due to which the farmers could not get any benefit. He also lashed out at BTP and alleged that it was misleading tribal society.
He told me that on June 27, PM Modi will interact with the booth-level workers in Bhopal on the black day of the imposition of an emergency. In this programme, 100 people are going from Rajasthan, in which four from Udaipur will also participate. On the question of the Hunkar delisting Maharally of the tribal society held recently on June 18, the MP said that this issue is important for the culture and rights of the tribal society. He has also raised his voice on this in Parliament. Soon, a bill will be brought on this and passed in Parliament. He said that when the SC class is not entitled to the rights of the SC on changing religion in the constitution, then why is this provision not there for the ST class? There must be a provision for delisting.
In response to the question of considering Amit Shah's meeting as an election campaign, Pramod Samar said that it is an election year, so it can be seen from the point of view of an election campaign. However, on the question of the leaders sitting on the dais, he said that so far only state presidents, regional MPs, and MLAs have been considered to sit; in this regard, the list is awaited from the higher level.
In the press conference, BJP city district president Ravindra Shrimali, rural district president Chandragupt Singh Chauhan, etc. also informed about various preparations.
