HMV organised Alumnae Meet: Golden Memories 2022
Jalandhar, March 15, 2022: Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar organized an Alumnae Meet: Golden Memories- 2022 as per the guidelines of Punjab Govt. and under the dynamic Support of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. Mrs. Ramanpreet, Vice President HMV Alumnae Welfare Association welcomed Dr. Ajay Sareen as the Chief Guest of the meet.
Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen extended green welcome to Mrs. Ramanpreet, Mrs. Rupali Kohli and Mrs. Harsh Chopra. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen in the formal welcome of Alumnae expressed her delight on organizing the event. She further said that it has given an opportunity to ponder over the declining quantity as well as quality in higher education. She pointed out certain factors which put a question mark on the current education system. There is need to introduce some changes and bridge the academia-industry gap to meet the expected outcomes. Moving further Mrs. Binoo Gupta, Secretary HMV Alumnae Association highlighted the key features of the association and detailed on skilled issues initiated by HMV to prepare the students for the industry.
Mrs. Ravinder Mahal, Director Cambridge International School expressed the need to sensitize about the abundance of opportunities available in the country and curb the allure of the greener pastures outside. Mrs. Ramanpreet and Mrs. Navjot also reflected on the factors which can improve and enhance the education system. It was suggested that there should be interactive sessions and workshops for linking schools and college students. The alumnae also enjoyed the cultural events in the form of songs, poems and memory sharing by Mrs. Manjeet and Mrs. Sarvpriya.
Vote of thanks was presented by Mrs. Savita Mahendru. Mrs. Deepshikha, Dr. Prem Sagar, Mrs. Veena Arora, Mrs. Savita Mahindru, Mrs. Kajal Puri, Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal, Mrs. Urvashi Mishra, Mrs. Raman, Mrs. Lovleen, Mrs. Pawan Kumari and faculty of Collegiate School were also present on the occasion. Mrs. Kuljit Kaur and Dr. Jyoti Gogia hosted the stage.
