Jalandhar, November 23, 2014: Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya won the GNDU Wrestling Championship by winning 7 Gold Medals out of eight categories and 1 Silver Medal. The college got 38 points by defeating BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar with 22 points.
Principal Dr. Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj congratulated the students, staff and coach of the game for this achievement. She also said that Km. Gagandeep Pal Kaur, Navjot Kaur, Gagandeep Kaur, Harjit Kaur, Jaspreet Kaur, Sandeep Kaur and Kulwinder Kaur has been selected for GNDU Wresting Team for the All India Inter University Championship which is going to be held at Kurukshetra.
On this occasion, Head Physical Education Department Sudershan Kang was also present.
