The students of Government Home Science College bagged many prizes in various competitions of Music and Fine Arts held on the first day of Zonal Youth and Heritage Festival held at Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Sector 26, Chandigarh today.

Chandigarh, October 17, 2022: The students of Government Home Science College bagged many prizes in various competitions of Music and Fine Arts held on the first day of Zonal Youth and Heritage Festival held at Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Sector 26, Chandigarh today. In Music, Kashika bagged first prize in Geet Category. The college secured second position in both Group Bhajan category and Group Song category. Kashish from B.Sc. Home Science got individual second prize in the Group Bhajan Category.
In the category of Fine Arts, Simran and Shabd Khanna won third position in cartooning and clay modelling respectively. Furthermore, Akanksha Rakheja won second position in the event of Rangoli.
Prof. Sudha Katyal, Principal of the college, congratulated the winners and highly appreciated the efforts of students and their mentors for their extreme hard work and dedication.
