Honda ushers Dussehra with Road Safety drive for school children

All India drive organised to create awareness in over 700 students Chandigarh, October 18, 2018: Reaffirming its resolve to make Indian roads safer, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. rolled out a nationwide Road-Safety awareness drive for school children inspired by the festival of ‘good over evil’ - Dussehra. The road safety education drive targeted school children between 5th to 7th standard across the country for imparting safety habits with a vision to make roads safer. The drive aimed at enhancing safety awareness through school children by making them Safety Champs of the society. Honda strives to sensitize school children on top 10 road safety habits in respect to all aspects starting from pedestrian to a rider. Mixing fun with road safety training, this Dussehra children from different schools across India visited the traffic training park in their city. They were mentored on road safety through various unique activities like role play activity with Ravana as mascot, drawing competition on theme – ‘Dussehra-Win of Good over Evil’ & ‘HelmetOnLifeOn’, cycling with riding gear, primary riding training and riding CRF50 motorcycle. For further encouragement, prizes were distributed to winners and participation mementos given to children & schools.
