During the Law Day function, Chief Justice of India, Justice Altamas Kabir and the Union Minister for Law and Justice, Government of India Dr. Ashwani Kumar giving the certificate of Honour to Harpreet Sandhu, Advocate and former Additional Advocate General, Punjab.

Ludhiana, November 27, 2012: Harpreet Sandhu, Advocate and former Additional Advocate General, Punjab has been one of the few lawyers within the country to have the rare distinction of been honoured on the National Law Day, 2012  held on November 26 by the Supreme Court Bar Association at New Delhi.

Sandhu has been conferred with the “Certificate of Honour” by the Chief Justice of India, Justice Altamas Kabir and by the Union Minister for Law and Justice, Government of India Dr. Ashwani Kumar, at the Law Day Function for his research comparative study- authoring book “German Indian Law - A Comparative Study" at Supreme Court of India, eminent leading Lawyers of the country and Judges of Supreme court of India attended the function.

Sandhu is one of the first criminal lawyer from Punjab to have receive this honour on the Law Day.
