HP Assembly remembered three ex-MLAs and those who lost their lives in helicopter crash
Dharamsala, December 10, 2021: In the Tapovan assembly of Dharamsala, the winter session started with the condolences motion on the death of three ex MLA on Friday. The House has also mourned the demise of CDS Vipin Rawat, his wife Ms Madulika Rawat including the CDS Bipin Rawat in the helicopter accident in the Kunnur of Tamil Nadu, recently. The House mourned the death of three former assembly members GS Bali, Bodh Raj and Dr. Shiv Kumar. Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said, "Speaking on the proposal in the House, said that due to the death of these three members, the state's politics has suffered a big damage. All of these have been special contribution in the house. GS Bali died on October 30, 2021 at the age of 67. He first elected the legislator for the first time in 1988. After this he also chose the MLA in 2003, 2007 and 2012. He has also been a minister in the Congress government twice. The entire state has been damaged by lose of Kangra leader. Similarly, former MLA Bodh Raj and Dr. Shiv Kumar have also sent a condolence towards their family. The Chief Minister said that both of them reach the assembly one-time only . Bodh Raj died on 65 Ages August 16, 2021. Apart from this, 29 November 2021 died at the age of 82. He also contributed to the development of Palampur. The Chief Minister also mentioned the Kunur Helicopter accident, where martyrs of 11 other army officers and jawans, including the CDS Bipin Rawat.
Leader of opposition in assembly and senior leader of Congress Mukesh Agnihotri, Jal Shakti Minister Mahendra Singh, Congress MLA, Ram Lal Thakur, UD Minister Suresh Bharadwaj also condoled for these people on the first day of the session.
