HP Board announces Class 12 Results: Girls dominate top ranks
The HP Board of School Education released the Class 12 results today, as announced by Chairman Hemraj Bairwa. A total of 85,777 students participated in this year's examinations, with 63,092 students passing, marking a pass percentage of 73.76%.
Dharamshala, April 29, 2024: The HP Board of School Education released the Class 12 results today, as announced by Chairman Hemraj Bairwa. A total of 85,777 students participated in this year's examinations, with 63,092 students passing, marking a pass percentage of 73.76%.
Highlighting the performance across various streams, Chairman Bairwa noted that the top 10 ranks in science, arts, and commerce were shared by 41 students. Remarkably, out of these top achievers, 30 are girls. The distribution of these top ranks included 10 students from government schools and 31 from private institutions.
This year’s results were processed and declared in a record time of only 25 days. In a step towards modernizing access to educational documents, students can now download their original certificates through the digital platform, DigiLocker, enhancing convenience and accessibility. The Himachal Pradesh Board has also revealed the topper list of all streams including Science, Arts, and Commerce as below:
• Kamakshi Sharma: 494/500 marks, 98.89% (Science)
• Chhaya Chauhan: 494/500 marks, 98.89% (Science)
• Shruti Sharma: 492/500 marks, 98.40% (Science)
• Angel: 491/500 marks, 98.20% (Science)
• Piyush Thakur: 491/500 marks, 98.20% (Science)
• Palak Thakur: 490/500 marks, 98% (Science)
• Arshita: 490/500 marks, 98% (Arts)
• Shavya: 490/500 marks, 98% (Commerce)
• Dhruv Sharma, Aruhi Sambhar: 489/500 marks (Science)
• Shivangi Sharma: 487/500 marks (Arts)
• Shalini: 486/500 marks (Arts)
• Tanu, Chintan, Bhawna: 484/500 marks (Arts)
