HPCA opens Cricket Academy in Global Sachool Mandi

Dharamshala, November 29, 2018: Few months back HPCA (Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association) had decided to open 70 Cricket Academies / cricket centres in the different schools of the state. In this connection, HPCA has opened its first academy in the market. BJP MP from Hamirpur and Ex -HPCA president Anurag Thakur duly inaugurated its first academy at Indus Global School Complex in Garathi, Mandi city on Wednesday.

Anurag Thakur inaugurated this academy by cutting ribbons at the hands of children of the school, at the same time, he played few shots too in the ground.

Anurag Thakur said, “HPCA has decided to open 70 academies / cricket centers in the state. Through these academies, the children can learn the nuances of cricket at the village level and they have the opportunity to move forward in this field.”

Thakur said that it has been started from Mandi, where the first Academy has been opened . “Experienced coaches will be kept here by HPCA", said Thakur.

He expressed his gratitude to Indus Global School for allowing them to open the academy in the school premises and now its benefits will be available to the players around here.
