Hundreds of Punjab Health Department employees take Drug-Abcuse prevention pledge

Chandigarh, March 25, 2018: In respect of the Martyrdom Day of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, an oath ceremony was held in the Directorate of Health & Family Welfare on Friday in which Director Health Services Punjab, Dr.Jaspal Kaur and hundreds of employees of Punjab's Director Health Services office took oath to spread awareness regarding ill-effects of drugs and to motivate youth to stay away from drugs.
On this occasion all employees of Director Health Services office volunteered themselves as Drug Abuse Prevention Officers. On similar terms the employees of Punjab Health Systems Corporation, National Health Mission, Punjab and Punjab State AIDS Control Society took oath in their respective offices situated in SAS Nagar and Chandigarh, respectively.
Dr Meena Hardeep, Director PHSC administered oath to PHSC employees, Dr Avneet Kaur, Director NHM, Punjab administered oath to National Health Mission employees whereas Dr Manpreet Chhatwal, Add Project Director administered oath to PSACS employees.
