HYDERABAD is the Fashion Capital of South: Anil Khosla, CEO of INIFD

Hyderabad, September 30, 2018: INIFD Himayatnagar organised its Annual Graduation Ceremony here in the city at Hotel Grand Kakatiya on Sunday morning.

75 students passed out and presented graduation certificates in an impressive ceremony held.

Mr.Sanjay Saraswath, Centre Head also graced the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion Anil Khosla, CEO of INIFD, who single handedly made INIFD the world’s largest chain of fashion designing centers said, Hyderabad is the Fashion Capital of South India. There is an abundant talent here to be nurtured. Local designers are creating ripples in international fashion platforms. He told students not be complacent.

Selfies and Instagram is not just your life. You need them, but also need to put lot of efforts in next five years to build your career. Graduating is not a ticket for success. Invest in yourself, he told Young fashion designers.

Ritu Kochchar, Director of INIFD said they INIFD just launched “Learn from Manish Malhotra”, an online fashion design course, where Manish Malhotra shares all his experiences and insights into the world of Fashion. It will be a 52 week, 9 modules program, she added

Jayashree Patel, showcased her collection which was selected for London Fashion Week this year in February 2018. This collection was showcased through a mini fashion show for the first time in the city.

The inspiration for the five piece payments collection, Jayashree Puts is 400 years old Rogarn Art of Nirona village in Gujarat in Kutch Region, near Pakistan border. This is a unique art where painting is made by nails and small iron instruments. The collection based on Rogan Art promotes oneness, unity in diversity. Because of this reason probably, Prime Minister Modi presented this Art to the then American President Barak Obama informed Jayashree Patel.

It took seven months to find my inspiration and several visits to Kutch Region. I spent one month in London presenting my collection. I was one of the 18 Indian girls selected and only one from Telugu States, Jayashree added.

Her favourite fashion designers are Alexander McQueen form Italy, Donatella Versace and Manish Malhotra and Tarun Tehliani, from India
