HYSEA launches biggest internship fair in recent times

Hyderabad: HYSEA today launched the biggest internship fair in association with Tech Partner Conduira and Outreach Partners TASK and JNTU Hyderabad. An important initiative to provide easy access to a large talent pool of highly skilled, pre-qualified engineering and business graduates & undergraduates to the industry.
 
This fair is the culmination of tremendous efforts by the Industry and Academia Forum of HYSEA led by Mr. Sesha M Rao, MC member, HYSEA & Board member of Insideview Technologies.  Due to accelerating technological advances, the gap between industry and academia is widening and HYSEA Industry Academia Forum’s goal is to address this challenge.
 
With 50+ companies participating, 1000+ internships on offer, and with 15,000+ students expected to participate in this online drive, it is one of the largest internship drive in Telangana thus far. The internships on offer are in diverse areas such as Data Engineering, Software Development, Sales & Marketing, Finance & HR and are open to currently graduating students and recent graduates.
 
As a part of this Internship Fair, HYSEA is also pioneering the unique concept of “Digital Internships” - A four weeks Online Learn and Hire program giving companies an opportunity to engage deeper with students and students, an opportunity to work with companies online and pick up industry-relevant skills. We expect 10,000+ Digital Interns through this Internship Fair.

The Internship Fair was inaugurated by Mr. Laxmikanth Venkatraman (VLK), MD of Broadridge India. Speaking on the occasion he said, “Software Development needs to be viewed as "Craftsmanship" where learning from other's experience and work product is key. Internships provide students this opportunity and helps them gain a better perspective of how to apply what they have learnt in a practical setting".

Mr. Prashanth Nandella, Secretary – HYSEA & President and COO, firstsource, talking at the inaugural reiterated HYSEA’s commitment to create programs and platforms that enable employability and job creation. We will continue our efforts to equip and encourage talent to bridge the employability gap of engineering graduates, he said.

Earlier, eminent people from the Industry and Academia participated in a captivating panel discussion on ‘Are we bridging the gap right?’ in the context of in the context of Industry-Academia efforts towards creating Industry ready students.
