Bhoomika Meena, who essays the role of Seher in the drama, delves into the traits she shares with her character and how she connects with Seher’s journey, she explained, “What captivated me about Seher is her fire and fearlessness—she’s a warrior navigating a harsh world, yet she’s fiercely nurturing. Understanding her meant looking beyond her profession and grasping why she carries herself with such immense pride. Seher is no victim, she is a powerful symbol of strength and self-agency. To embody her, I conducted extensive research, discussed ideas with my director, and visited real-life locations to immerse myself in her world. My own diverse experiences in life also played a role—from grazing cattle and plowing fields with my Nana and Nani in a village near Jaipur to studying at MGD Girls’ School, representing India in London, and even pursuing an MBBS degree. Meeting so many interesting people along the way shaped me profoundly, which naturally reflects in my work. Ultimately, Seher’s free-spirited, empathetic, and unapologetic nature deeply resonates with me, inspiring me to infuse a similar authenticity to my life and craft.”
