Mrunal Thakur and Avinash Tiwary who were seen together on Amazon miniTV’s latest short film Jahaan have been receiving love from audiences ever since the movie was launched. Talking about the film, the actors shared some interesting insights.
Mrunal Thakur said, “Jahaan is my first short film and I resonated with the character of Ghazal and more importantly I resonated with Jahaan. A story of 13 minutes to narrate the concept was very difficult but the way the nuances, the sets, props, the characters, the transitions, and the way it has been directed is absolutely beautiful. It brings me great joy that the film has come out on Amazon miniTV. Today we have great platforms like Amazon miniTV – where the best short films are coming out and we also have OTT platforms and through this film I want to encourage the budding directors, filmmakers and actors out there to take the step and showcase their work”.
Avinash Tiwary said “Jahaan will always be a special project for me as it wasn’t just a film, but it was three friends who are coming together and trying to tell a story which has made some impact to the audiences who have watched it. It is a simple love story with a message and a great intent.”
