Amazon miniTV – Amazon’s free video streaming service, recently premiered a short film titled Don’t Drink & Drive. With stellar faces like Gagan Arora and Arjun Mathur in pivotal roles, the short film has been receiving a lot of appreciation from viewers across the country. Don’t Drink & Drive takes us on a car ride where a young man, in all his drunken wisdom, decides to pick up a hitchhiker while driving home after partying. The antics that follow these two then impart a lesson that all viewers should keep in mind. Recently, the two talented actors shared a memorable moment from the shoot, here is what they had to say about it.
“The part of filming which is in my mind is definitely that shot of Gagan speeding in the car, I don’t remember who was in the car with us. It was fun, we were just speeding, and I was just making orgasmic expressions (laughs),” said Arjun Mathur. Adding to this, Gagan says, “And the team quietly told me to not speed more than 80 kmph, there can be a problem. Jai (Sharma) came to me and said, ‘Sir, you speed up, just take it over 100 kmph for a moment so I can record it’. Even while driving, on the walkie he emphasized, ‘Sir, speed up’. It was the fifth gear and in my mind I was contemplating whether we should do it or not. All in all, it was a fun-filled ride.”
