ICAR-CIPHET, Ludhiana gives training and licensing on `Low fat meat emulsion and process for making the same’

Ludhiana, January 11, 2017: Meats and meat products are high in energy and fat content, and thus may be associated with higher risk of obesity. Therefore, in health conscious world of today, there is a need for low fat meat products and ICAR-CIPHET has developed low fat meat emulsion and emulsion type meat products that have desirable flavor and texture like that of high fat meat emulsion and emulsion type meat products. Dr.Yogesh Kumar, Scientist AS & EC Division has imparted hands on training to Mr.Bhanu Partap Singh, a budding entrepreneur from Phillaur. Dr.Ranjeet Singh, I/C ITMU co-ordinated this activity. Dr. R.K. Gupta, Director, ICAR-CIPHET, Ludhiana awarded license and training certificate to entrepreneur on successful completion of the training.
