The licensing agreement was officially signed today between Dr. Nachiket Kotwaliwale, Director of CIPHET, and Akash Joshi, Director of BNK Foods. This innovative process, developed by Dr. Manju Bala, Dr. Deepika Goswami, Dr, Mridula D., Dr. R.K. Vishwakarma & Dr. Nachiket Kotwaliwale at ICAR-CIPHET, offers an efficient method to extract hesperidin, a valuable bioflavonoid with numerous health benefits, from immature dropped kinnows. The technology not only adds value to kinnow waste but also presents a sustainable opportunity for businesses in the nutraceutical and food industries.
