ICAR-CIPHET participated in North Zone Regional Agricultural Fair at RLBCAU, Jhansi
With a theme of "Regenerative Agriculture for Sustainable Development", the North Zone Regional Agricultural Fair-2024 was held at Rani Lakshmi Bhai Central Agricultural University (RLBCAU), Jhansi (U.P). The ICAR-CIPHET participated the event during 8-10 February, and showcased its developed processing technologies relevant to the theme of this farmer’s fair. The diverse agriculture organizations including research institutes, NABARD, KVKs, FPO’s, Farming industries also displayed their stalls.

Ludhiana, February 12, 2024: With a theme of "Regenerative Agriculture for Sustainable Development", the North Zone Regional Agricultural Fair-2024 was held at Rani Lakshmi Bhai Central Agricultural University (RLBCAU), Jhansi (U.P). The ICAR-CIPHET participated the event during 8-10 February, and showcased its developed processing technologies relevant to the theme of this farmer’s fair. The diverse agriculture organizations including research institutes, NABARD, KVKs, FPO’s, Farming industries also displayed their stalls.
The Bundelkhand region being the major producer of groundnut, the local farmers and entrepreneurs showed their interest in CIPHET developed technology of “Peanut Processing to develop dairy analogues such as milk and paneer”. Thousands of farmers and students around the region visited the mela. The queries of faculty, farmers, entrepreneurs and students regarding post-harvest management and processing technologies for developing value added products were keenly attended by ICAR-CIPHET.
Surya Pratap Shahi, Minister of Agricultural Education, Uttar Pradesh inaugurated this regional fair. N.S. Tomar (Former Union Minister of Agriculture) was the Chief Guest of the valedictory session of this mega event.
