ICC ODI Cricket World Cup Trophy shall reach Dharamsala on Wednesday

ICC ODI Cricket World Cup  is being organized in India from 5th October this year, in this regard  ICC ODI Cricket World Cup  trophy is being rotated in all the cities where the matches are to be organized. In this series, the trophy will reach Dharamshala in Himachal on 27th September.

ICC ODI Cricket World Cup Trophy shall reach Dharamsala on Wednesday

Dharamsala, September 26, 2023: ICC ODI Cricket World Cup  is being organized in India from 5th October this year, in this regard  ICC ODI Cricket World Cup  trophy is being rotated in all the cities where the matches are to be organized. In this series, the trophy will reach Dharamshala in Himachal on 27th September. Five matches are scheduled to be organized for this trophy in HPCA Stadium Dharamshala. Along with the matches, excitement is also being seen among the cricket lovers regarding the arrival of the trophy in Dharamsala.

According to the Himachal Cricket Association, the trophy will reach Gaggal Airport in Dharamsala on September 27 at 8:30 am. From where the trophy will be taken to the stadium via Gaggal Chowk, Shaheed Smarak Dharamshala, Kotwali Bazaar Chowk, McLeodganj, Dalai Lama Buddhist Monastery, Skyway Mcleodganj and Tea Gardens.

HPCA Secretary Avneesh Parmar said in a press conference today that the main event regarding the World Cup trophy will be organized  in the evening at the HPCA  Cricket Stadium, Dharamsala, for which HPCA has made complete preparations. For this, entry of cricket lovers from Gate No. 2 will be free from 4 pm on Wednesday. This event will be organized under the chairmanship of IPL Chairman Arun Dhumal.

Avneesh Parmar said, “The Dharamshala International Cricket Stadium is fully ready for the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. 5 day-night matches will be organized here From October 7 to October 28. The Board of Control for Cricket in India has got this stadium  renovated before the World Cup. New grass has been planted on the field here. The outfield has become much better than before.  One Day World Cup is to be played for the first time at  this venue. The Dharamshala cricket stadium is considered as one of the most beautiful stadiums in the world.”

Team India has played 4 ODIs in this ground, they won 2 and lost 2. This time the India-New Zealand match will be held here on 22nd October.
