Indore: ICICI Bank, India's largest private sector bank by consolidated assets, organised 51 coin exchange melas at its various branches in Indore as well as neighbouring towns from April to July, 2017.

These melas were organised at nine branches of the Bank in Indore at Ashok Nagar, Bengali Square, Malav Parisar, M.G Road, Patel Nagar, Ushaganj, Vijay Nagar, Vaishali Nagar and VCC Gumastha Nagar. The Bank also held 42 melas at its branches in the nearby towns of Rau, Pithampur, Neemuch, Shujalpur, Bhuranpur, Badnagar, Ratlam, Badnawar, Barwani, Barwaha, Khandwa, Jaora, Sonkatch, Ujjain, Sendhwa, Jhabua, Ghattabillod, Depalpur, Dhamnod, Pipliyamandi, Khargone, Shajapur, Nagda, Dhar and Mandsaur.

ICICI Bank periodically organises coin exchange melas to offer a free facility of exchanging notes with coins to the general public. These are much-awaited events that receive an overwhelming response from people from all walks of life. Anyone can avail of this facility free of cost.

These coin melas saw participation of over 700 people, where they exchanged coins worth around Rs.14.36 lakh in the denomination of coins in Rs.10, Rs.5, Rs.2 and Re.1.

ICICI Bank has 4,852 branches and 13,780 ATMs spread across the country as on June 30, 2017. It has over 230 branches and close to 350 ATMs in Madhya Pradesh, making it to the largest branch network among private sector banks in the state.
