ICSI signs MoU with GNA University
MOU will open the path to undertake joint research projects
Jalandhar: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between GNA University & the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) with an objective to influence a wide-ranging partnership for conveying knowledge and skills in the areas of Joint Academic Research, Joint Workshops, and Professional Development Programme for Company Secretaries, distribution resources and International Conferences.
The MOU will open the path to undertake joint research projects which are mutually beneficial, The University also accorded its necessary recognition to company Secretary Qualification as equivalent to Post Graduate Degree for the purpose of admission to Ph.D. in Management/ Commerce and allied Programmes., Jointly organize Workshops, Seminars, Continuing Education and Training programmes and similar Academic Programmes for Practicing Professionals, Corporate Executives & Faculty Members, Research Scholars and students.
The academic occasion was graced by the stalwarts under the stewardship of Mr. Gurdeep Sihra - President and Pro Chancellor, GNA University. He congratulated everyone and expressed, “This initiative will bring the best out of an academic collaboration between ICSI and GNA University and will pave the way for the students and aspiring CS professionals.”
Vice Chancellor Dr. V K Rattan said, “The linkage of two academic bodies is a crucial step which should remain at the forefront to motivate both the sides and enhance each other skills.”
CS Nagendra Rao, Vice President ICSI mentioned “The essential foundation and one of the major objectives of the ICSI is to make a significance role in taking academic brilliance across the Nation and move towards the all-inclusive growth of all its students, members and other investors.”
CS Vishal Soni Chairman and Ashish Garg President, ICSI,graced the memorable endeavour.
Registrar, Dr.RK Mahajan, GNA University expressed, “This MoU will establish a closer alliance to render an influence on each other's assets. “
