Ludhiana, February 15, 2019: Indian Doctors for Peace and Development (IDPD) condemns terrorist violence in Pulwama and expresses heartfelt condolence with the families of the brave soldiers fighting against violence in the valley and defending country’s sovereignty.
In a statement released here today Dr S S Soodan – President IDPD, Dr Shakeel Ur Rahman – General Secretary IDPD and Dr Arun Mitra Sr.Vice President IDPD said that history is witness to that violence is no solution to any issue. All wars ultimately ended through dialogue. In the conditions of violence common citizens have to suffer. It is time that all concerned should get involved so that effective consensus is initiated so that South Asia becomes a peaceful region. Any escalation in the tension between India and Pakistan can have catastrophic consequences because both are nuclear power states.
