IDPD medical team sets hearing aids to needy farmers at Tikri Border
Fifty hearing aids were fitted free
Ludhiana: A medical team of Indian Doctors for Peace and Development led by ENT Surgeon Dr Arun Mitra examined the patients suffering from ear nose and throat ailments at the Tikri border where Protesting farmers are at a dharna for 7 months. Fifty hearing aids were fitted free. Other members of the team included Dr Jaswinder Singh, Kuldeep Singh Binder and Anod Kumar. Dr Mitra told that their teams have been giving medical aid to the farmers from time to time regularly at Tikri Border. They are now planning to organise specialty camps where the medical teams led by specialist doctors will examine the patients.
The medical camp was organised in association with 5 Rivers Heart Association led by Dr Swaiman Singh at Pind California, New Bus Stand, Bahadurgarh.
