IDPD organises 4th medical camp for the farmers at Tikri Border
IDPD team gives medical aid to the farmers at Singhu and Tikri border for two day in a week since Nov 26
Ludhiana: The Indian Doctors for Peace and Development (IDPD) organized 4th medical camp for the farmers at Tikri border on 26-27 December. Nearly 400 patients suffering from respiratory illnesses, ENT problems, Asthma, joint problems, backache, diabetes, hypertension, hyper acidity, skin problems, sleeplessness, eye problems etc were examined and given free medicines.
The team of doctors was led by Dr.Arun Mitra – ENT Surgeon, Dr.Gagandeep Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr.Param Saini – Clinical Psychologist, Dr.Aftab and Anod Kumar. They expressed grief at the loss of lives of the protesting farmers. They appealed to the farmers to be vigilant about any changes in the behavior of their fellows. In case such a change of stress, aloofness or withdrawal is noticed in a person, he/she must not be left alone but should be continuously counseled so as to prevent suicidal tendencies.
Dr.Mitra Said that IDPD team gives medical aid to the farmers at Singhu and Tikri border for two day in a week since 26th November and will continue the same. /(December 28)
