Indian Idol Season 15 is all set to premiere on 26th October at 9 PM on Sony Entertainment Television and viewers can’t keep calm! This season will witness judges Badshah, Shreya Ghoshal, and Vishal Dadlani on the hunt for the best talent with a unique voice. As a 15-year-old, Ragini Shinde from Aurangabad has emerged as ‘Idol ka Aashirwad Face,’ and she is set to captivate audiences with her stellar audition. Currently studying for her board exam, she was encouraged by her brother, whom she fondly calls ‘dada’, to take the plunge and audition for the show. While she comes across as a sweet teenager, her journey is nothing short of extraordinary; as a 3-year-old, she became a hero in her family! She went through a successful bone marrow transplant for her brother, who was diagnosed with thalassemia and was given only a few short years to live. Her unwavering spirit and dedication to family shine through in every note she sings.

During her audition, Ragini delivered a breathtaking rendition of 'Nigahen Milane Ko Jee Chahta Hai' that compelled the judges to give her a standing ovation. Listening to her story and her performance, Badshah couldn't contain his admiration, stating, “Agar Aashirwad ka koi face hota toh I think Ragini hoti.’”

Vishal was particularly impressed, and said, “You know what I loved the most about this performance? The simplicity in your singing is amazing. There’s a light in your eyes that shows you want to achieve something. Your big ambition shines through in your performance. You don’t even know what you’re going to become, but your soul glows when you sing. Spectacular!”

Shreya Ghoshal echoed the praise, adding, “You chose such a challenging song by Asha Ji, which many people don’t dare to sing because it requires so much finesse and power. I loved the way you were trying to emulate Asha Ji's style. I am confident that if you move ahead in this season then we will hear some wonderful songs sung by you. I also want to thank your dada; it’s because of him that you are here.”
