IFFCO Shortlists GKU Students For Mobile Kisan Sewa


Talwandi Sabo, April 20, 2017: A team of senior officers of IFFCO, Chandigarh comprising Dr.A.K.Chawala, State Manager, Mr.Sharad, Head Human Resources Development and Vineet Kumar Paul, Incharge Content, Visited Guru Kashi University (GKU), Talwandi Sabo. They scrutinized resume of students of B. Sc (Agriculture) hons . of the University and interviewed 50 of them. Based on the performance of the students, 21 students were short listed for jobs in IFFCO Kisan Mobile Sewa, to be placed in different districts of Punjab. Dr. Chawala said the finally selected will be provided training in Kisan Mobile Sewa, before sending them to the field.

The Chairman GKU , Mr. Gurlabh Singh Sidhu, The M.D. Mr. Sukhraj Singh Sidhu , congratulated the shortlisted candidates . The GKU Vice Chancellor Col. Dr. B.S. Dhaliwal appreciated the efforts of the CRC Cell and Dean aggriculture Dr. Ajmer Singh Sidhu for the recruitment / placement derive . Dr. Jagpal Singh , Pro-VC thanked IFFCO for selecting GKU students for the GOI Project on Kissan Call Centre. The GKU Registrar, Dr. Jagtar Singh Dhiman appreciated the IFFCO team for having an interface with GKU students on the theme of ICT in technology transfer . The CRC In charge (GKU) Prof. Mehboob Singh Gill and his team effectively managed the whole programme.
