IIT and IIM Indore collaborate for yet another season of entrepreneurial extravaganza

Pune, August 18, 2016: Students of two of India’s most prestigious institutions, IIT Indore and IIM Indore are collaborating again as the prestigious i5 summit is back with a plethora of opportunities! A one of a kind entrepreneurial event, the summit aims to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship amongst the brightest minds of our country and the event intends to support young entrepreneurs by connecting them with investors and mentors to take their ideas to the next level.

The two-day entrepreneurial carnival which takes place in IIM Indore will be held on 20-21st August, 2016. With the organisers promising stimulating panel discussions and some of the best speakers the country has to offer, the i5 summit will be a trove of entrepreneurial insights. This year, the i5 summit will proudly play host to Bibop Gresta, COO, Hyperloop, who is on his maiden visit to India. Hyperloop Transportation Technologies, Inc. (HTT) is a global team focused on removing barriers of speed and congestion in travel by developing futuristic mode of transport Besides this, industry leaders like Anand Govindaluri, Founder & CEO, Govin Capital ; GV Ravishankar, Managing Partner, Sequoia ; Bipin Preet Singh, CEO, Mobikwik ; Falguni Nayar, CEO, Nykaa ; Prem Singh, Global President HR, Wockhardt ; Ravi Venkatesan, Chairman, Bank of Baroda ; Padmaja Ruparel, President, Indian Angel Network ; Taru Kapoor, Head Operations, Tinder India ; Samar Singla, Founder and CEO, Jugnoo are a few of the confirmed speakers.

The workshops at i5 summit are specially being designed to hone people's business skills besides giving them a glimpse of the start-up world. They seek to leave the participants inspired and motivated.

A special feature of the event is Get Funded, an angel funding competition, which is open to start-ups from all over the country. It’s a unique platform where one could raise 15 lac by selling a minority stake of their start-ups. The best angel investors will be present there to judge and to invest.

An interesting concept of Chai Pe Charcha will be a platform for industry stalwarts and participants to connect and network over cuppas of chai in a relaxed campus atmosphere.
