IKGPTU Intercollege Volleyball Tournament 2025 at CGC Jhanjeri

Mohali, February 11, 2025: Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri, Mohali, hosted the IKGPTU Intercollege Volleyball Tournament 2025, bringing together 22 teams from IKGPTU-affiliated colleges for a high-energy competition. The tournament featured both boys' and girls' teams, showcasing exceptional talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Teams from DAVIET Jalandhar, CBSA Landran, RBIM Hoshiarpur, GGI Khanna, and several other institutions delivered thrilling performances, keeping the audience engaged throughout the matches. The opening ceremony was graced by CGC Mohali’s leadership, who welcomed participants and dignitaries while emphasizing the institution’s commitment to holistic student development through sports.

Knockout Matches (Boys)  IKGPTU defeated LKCTC  with 2-0 , Indo Global Abhipur defeated SVIET Banur with 2-1 Points, CEC Jhanjeri defeated Daviet Jalandhar  with 2-1 , CSB Jhanjeri defeated GTBMT Dakha  with 2-0, CEC Landran defeated AGC Amritsar with 2-0 , CEC Landran defeated Indo Global Abhipur  with  2-0,  GGI Khanna defeated IKGPTU with  2-1, CEC Landran defeated GNE Ludhiana  with 2-0, GGI Khanna defeated IET Bhaddal with 2-0, CGC Landran defeated SSCP, Bhadhani  with  2-0, CSB Jhanjeri defeated CGC Landran  with 2-1.

In League Matches (Boys)  CEC Landran defeated CEC Jhanjeri with 2-1. CSB Jhanjeri defeated GGI Khanna  with  2-0, CEC Landran defeated GGI Khanna  with 2-1, CSB Jhanjeri defeated CEC Jhanjeri with 2-0, CSB Jhanjeri defeated CEC Landran  with 2-1, IKGPTU defeated CEC Jhanjeri  with  2-1.

League Matches (Girls)  CEC Landran defeated CEC Jhanjeri  with 2-0,  CEC Landran defeated GNE Ludhiana  with 2-0,  CEC Jhanjeri defeated GNE Ludhiana  with  2-0.

After two days of intense matches, CSB Jhanjeri secured the winner’s title in the boys' category, followed by CEC Landran as the runner-up and CGC Jhanjeri in third place. In the girls' category, CEC Landran emerged as the champion, with CGC Jhanjeri as the runner-up and GNE Ludhiana securing third place.
