This weekend, the stakes are higher than ever on Sony Entertainment Television’s much loved singing reality show, ‘Indian Idol Season 15’ as the Top 15 contestants will sing their way to make it ahead in the show during the ‘Theatre Round.’ Judged by Vishal Dadlani, Shreya Ghoshal, and guest judge Neeti Mohan, the competition will be intense as each talent will try to outshine the other by bringing their best to the forefront. Top 15 mein jagah banane ke liye hogi contestants ki takraar; one such duo who will deliver a scorching musical face-off in the Theatre Round are ‘Idol ki Ziddi Girl’ Myscmee and ‘Idol ki Crazy Girl’ Manasi Gosh, owning the stage with their renditions of ‘Silsila Ye Chahat Ka’and ‘Aa Zara’ respectively.
Myscmme Bose, a talented singer from Guwahati, has auditioned for Indian Idol for years. With a numerology-inspired makeover and a new spelling for her name, Myscmme's determination has paid off and she is poised for a triumphant run on the show. In the Theatre Round, Myscmee poured her heart and spirit into every note with Shreya Ghoshal acknowledging her effort and dedication. Praising Myscmee for a wonderful performance, Shreya remarked, “Your singing was exceptional! Your song involved a lot of layers and you covered it all. Your journey and commitment shine through in every line. The skill and breath control you demonstrate are incredible, and the spirit you bring to the song is inspiring. Amazing. I remember Badshah mentioned that your voice is flawless and I agree. You left no scope for error.” Adding to the compliments, Vishal Dadlani praised Myscmme’s progress over the years, celebrating her improvement and unwavering focus, while Neeti Mohan noted her exceptional control, especially during challenging live performances.
On the other hand, Kolkata’s Manasi has been the sole breadwinner for her family since the age of 16; versatile in her musical style, Manasi performs various genres like fast, funky, and Sufi in live shows to support her family. Manasi has previously impressed the judges with her simplicity and craziness, be it her quirky hobbies of ‘Khana, banana, Gana, jalana’ or her wish to eradicate vegetarian food. Taken by surprise with her charismatic performance in the Theatre Round, Shreya goes on to compare her vocal prowess to that of Sunidhi Chauhan while also noting the originality in Manasi’s voice, saying, “Your low notes and unique vocal tone bring a freshness that truly stands out.” Vishal Dadlani also lauds her performance stating, “She’s in it to win it and I love that!” Both singers impressed the judges with their diverse styles, with Shreya adding, “These two come from unique singing cultures, and they’ve chosen songs that truly test their skill and focus.”
The theatre round will throw the spotlight on the diverse musical talent of Indian Idol Season 15, as contestants like Myscmme and Manasi set new standards with each performance.
