Ludhiana, April 28,2025: In protest against the Pahalgam incident, the Punjab Pradesh Beopar Mandal observed a Black Day today by tying black bands along with a group of traders.
The traders said that there will be no further trade with Pakistan.
In protest against the massacre of innocent tourists in Pahalgam, the Punjab Pradesh Beopar Mandal, led by State General Secretary Sunil Mehra, District Secretary Ayush Agrawal, and BJP leader Harkesh Mittal, observed a Black Day by tying black bands. They appealed to Prime Minister Modi to swiftly capture the terrorists who, under the guise of religion, identified and massacred people — resulting in the deaths of 26 innocent people— and to deal with them the same way they dealt with Indians.
The trade leaders said that no amount of condemnation is enough for this heinous attack, as it has wounded millions of hearts. They emphasized that our neighbouring country has become a festering wound, and it is imperative to treat it.
They further said that India, which used to trade goods worth ₹30,000–₹40,000 crores with Pakistan, will now see a complete boycott of Pakistan by the entire trading community. This is not the time for political games but for standing united to respond to the enemy. They stated that the whole nation is united against this incident and that today, the entire world stands with India against terrorism.
These traders also appealed to Prime Minister Modi to teach Pakistan a strict lesson this time, as terror under the guise of religion is instilling fear in the hearts of Indian children.
Present at the occasion were Devinder Jolly, Jagdish Sadana, Vijay Chopra, Rajesh Sablok, Vinod Kumar, Manish Kumar, Saurav, and other traders.
