Inauguration of immunity boosting kitchen garden at Home Science College
The whole month has been dedicated to nutrition-related activities

Chandigarh: In an initiative to promote healthy eating at home, Government Home Science College inaugurated and planted a kitchen garden on the campus today as a part of celebrations of Poshan Maah under the Government's initiative.
The plantation was conducted by Principal Prof Sudha Katyal and other faculty members. Several immunity-boosting herbs were planted which included lemon-grass, tulsi, ashwagandha, aloe Vera, turmeric, mint, giloy, garlic, ginger, and basil.

Principal Prof Sudha Katyal appreciated the initiatives of the department and encouraged everyone to plant a kitchen garden to ensure immunity at every household.
