Independence Day celebration in Innocent Hearts Group
Every student of all the five schools of Innocent Hearts Group (Green Model Town, Loharan, Nurpur Road, Cantt.- Jandiala Road and Kapurthala Road), B.Ed College and Management College participated in the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and showed respect to their tricolour and country.
Jalandhar, August 14, 2023: Every student of all the five schools of Innocent Hearts Group (Green Model Town, Loharan, Nurpur Road, Cantt.- Jandiala Road and Kapurthala Road), B.Ed College and Management College participated in the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and showed respect to their tricolour and country.
Several activities were organized for the students on this occasion. By reciting wonderful poems related to the motherland, the children aroused the spirit of patriotism and filled the school with love for the country. Under the theme 'Meri Mati, Mera Desh', dance, music, role play, speech competition and poster-making activities were conducted, in which the students showed great enthusiasm. The week-long activities included 'Rejoice of Freedom' for the little ones of InnoKids, in which children dressed up in costumes of various freedom fighters to pay homage to them remembering their great sacrifices. The campus of the school was decorated with the colours of the tricolour. During this, the school campus echoed with the slogans of 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' and 'Vande Mataram'.
During the special prayer meeting, all the students were made aware of the importance of Independence Day and students were encouraged to participate in the specially organized 'Meri Mati, Mera Desh' activity. A patriotic singing competition was organized for the students of class IX. To remind the sacrifices of our freedom fighters, the dance performance by the students enthralled everyone.
NSS unit of Innocent Hearts College of Education organized a medicinal tree plantation drive and essay writing competition on the life and contribution of our national heroes under the campaign 'Meri Mati, Mera Desh'.
Flag hoisting was done by seniors of schools and colleges. After this, the national flag was saluted and the national anthem was sung.
