Appeals to Swayamsevaks to build up positive atmosphere towards social service for nation building and making India a “Vishwa Guru”.
Jalandhar, January 26, 2023: RSS Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale has appealed to Swayamsevaks to build up positive atmosphere towards social service for nation building and making India a “Vishwa Guru”.
He was addressing Swayamsevaks of the RSS at a function organised to celebrate 75th Anniversary of Indian Independence at New Dana Mandi here today.
Around 1500 Swayamsevaks were present on the occasion.
“Today is Vasant Panchami and we pray to Maa Saraswati as from today onwards the winter season will be ending and spring season will be in progress”, he said.
In his address, he remembered Vir Hakikat Rai for his supreme sacrifice. He added today is January 26 and in 1950 on this day the Constitution of India came to existence.
He added since achieving Independence Indians have focused on nation building and keeping unity and integrity intact.
He appealed to the youths to keep positive attitude towards nation building. He said that the main objective of the RSS is too aware the masses towards nation building.
He also spoke on environmental issues and said that earlier when trees were axed new saplings were planted. There is a need to carry on plantation drives for maintaining ecological balance, he said.
Further, he said, “We all should contribute to make India a super power”.
“We should try to follow the path and ideology shown by the Saints”, he said.
He emphasized that priority should be given on social work.
Dr Krishan Gopal, Arun Kumar, Pardeep Joshi, Sita Ram Vyas, Iqbal Singh, Dr Satish Sharma, Vijay Kumar and others were present.
At another function held at Vidya Dham here, he hoisted National Flag. Speaking on the occasion, Dattatreya Hosabale spoke about strengthened democracy in India.
He said that democracy is deeply embedded in India's social tradition. He added many divisive forces in the country had attempted to target India's democracy, but all these attempts had proved failed and there had been no effect on the country's democracy.

Prominent personalities including Union Minister Som Parkash and National Commission for Scheduled Castes chairman Vijay Sampla were present on the occasion.
