Dharamshala, April 13, 2016: Speaking at an event organised in Bachat Bhawan, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday, Anurag Thakur, M.P and BJYM President, stressed on the various positive steps taken by the Modi government to boost entrepreneurship in the country in the past 2 years.
Anurag said, “Our vision for the youth is educate, employ empower. By availing schemes like MUDRA, we are enabling our youth, women, artisans, entrepreneurs to not only self-employ themselves but also become empowered and provide jobs to other. We would shift from becoming job seekers to job creators. Today, we have heard various success stories of local entrepreneurs who have availed these MUDRA loans and are doing excellently. He said that It is only Narendra Modi’s NDA government that could encourage our youth in such a formidable way.”
Thakur said, “Any Indian Citizen, irrespective of gender, community or profession, who is eligible to avail of loan and has a business plan for income generating activity can avail of MUDRA loan. If you have a valid business proposal, you could approach the nearest bank to avail the loan.”
Anurag said that Himachal has benefited a lot from the MUDRA scheme. So far, close to 86000 MUDRA loans amounting close to 1000 crores have been sanctioned for Himachali people alone.
The event was organised to interact and dialogue with the current and potential beneficiaries of central government’s MUDRA scheme.
