India’s top choreographer Terence Lewis visits CT Group
Besides promoting his debut song Shaidayee, Terence burn the dance floor with CT Group students
Jalandhar, April 7, 2022: The Sardarni Manjit Kaur Auditorium of CT Group of Institutions, South Campus, Shahpur was filled with excitement and joy as the students and guests received India’s top choreographer Terence Lewis with open arms and smiles. Terence, who has made a mark in the field of dance, visited CT Group in order to promote his debut song titled Shaidayee as a singer. He was accompanied by Founder of Youth Talks Ketki Pandit, youngest director Saurabh Prajapati and lyricist Vandana Khandelwal.
During a candid interaction with the students, Terence Lewis revealed about how he got a chance to explore his singing side and said, “When the director of the song made me hear the song, it had a nice feel and rhythm. I wanted to sing a happy song. Everyone sings sad songs on love, pertaining to heartbreak. The lyrics were beautifully written. I knew I needed to train before we went ahead, so I did so in western and Indian vocals, for 18 months. We wanted to show certain madness. On the first day, I turned up on set with brown hair and a beard. When the director saw me on screen, he said we couldn’t roll, because my hair looked too stylish for the part. For the next hour, we had to work on making my complexion dusky, and colouring my hair black again. We enjoyed every bit of shooting this song.”
On the visit to CT Group Terence said, “Well, I always love visiting Punjab and this time, the craze of the CT Group students made me fall more for Punjabis as all are so open hearted. I am also thankful to the management for showering so much of warm love and great hospitality.” This was followed by a dance performance of Terence with the students of CT.
CT Group Co-Chairperson Parminder Kaur Channi, Managing Director Dr. Manbir Singh, Tanika Singh, Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh, Campus Director Dr. Rahul Malhotra, Davinder Singh congratulated the team for their song project and wished them luck for future endeavors.
