IndiGo hosts first-ever pool campus placement drive in Punjab Region at CT Group of Institutions

CT Group of Institutions recently hosted an unprecedented pool campus placement drive in collaboration with InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. (IndiGo), marking the first event of its kind in the Punjab region. This initiative provided aspiring candidates with the opportunity to secure roles as cabin crew and ground staff with IndiGo, India’s leading airline renowned for its dedication to quality and customer service. Over 200 students from various institutions across Punjab participated, with 10 successfully securing placements, showcasing the strong talent base within the region.

Jalandhar, November 8, 2024: CT Group of Institutions recently hosted an unprecedented pool campus placement drive in collaboration with InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. (IndiGo), marking the first event of its kind in the Punjab region. This initiative provided aspiring candidates with the opportunity to secure roles as cabin crew and ground staff with IndiGo, India’s leading airline renowned for its dedication to quality and customer service. Over 200 students from various institutions across Punjab participated, with 10 successfully securing placements, showcasing the strong talent base within the region.

The selection process for cabin crew candidates included a pre-placement session, followed by a preliminary interview, a communication round, a medical examination, and a final interview. For ground staff roles, the selection consisted of a pre-placement session and a final interview. This structured process was designed to assess the candidates’ skills, communication, and commitment to the field.

The placement drive was led by an accomplished team from IndiGo, including Jigyasha Saini, Senior Executive of Talent Acquisition; Aarti Kohli, Associate Director of Human Resources; and Harpreet Kaur from the Paramedics team. Their expertise and guidance throughout the selection process ensured that each candidate was thoroughly assessed for their suitability in the aviation industry. Their presence underscored IndiGo's commitment to fostering new talent and building connections with ambitious young professionals.

Dr. Nittan Arora, Director of the Centre for Career Planning and Counseling at CT Group, shared his pride in organizing this event, which sets a significant precedent for future campus placements.
