IndiGo reinforces regional network with new flights from Indore
Direct connection between Indore – Jammu effective March 28, 2022
Strengthening its initiative enhancing regional air connectivity, IndiGo, India’s leading carrier, commenced its new direct flight from Indore to Jammu effective March 28, 2022. The new route was inaugurated today with the lighting of a lamp, at the Indore airport and Ministry of Civil Aviation in New Delhi. The ceremony was graced by Union Minister for Civil Aviation – Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia (virtually), and other eminent dignitaries from Indore at the airport. The addition of this new route from Indore is a part of IndiGo’s strategy to enhance connectivity to central India.
Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Chief Strategy and Revenue Officer, IndiGo said, “We are pleased to launch new routes from Indore to Jammu. Direct connectivity from Indore, the largest city in Madhya Pradesh, to Jammu which is one of India’s most popular destinations for pilgrims and a gateway to Jammu & Kashmir. The new route will cater to the increasing economic and tourism demand of the state. IndiGo operates a total of 632 weekly flights to and from Madhya Pradesh, including connections from destinations like Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, and Gwalior.
