Ludhiana, May 5, 2023: CICU, in accordance with its routine activities and for the benefit of the industry organized a workshop on a very important topic ‘Conflict Management and Team Building’ i.e. considered to be a challenge generally faced by every small and big organization.
Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, CICU highlighted that the main objective to organize this workshop is to resolve conflicts being faced at the workplace and allow teams to trust each other and work better together to achieve their goals. This workshop will help team members to understand each other better and create smoother working relationships in the future.
The session was taken up by renowned Faculty, Dr Parmod Lamba, who is a known Human Resources- Consultant and Strategic Business development partner. He explained numerous topics like Conflict Resolution with the Thomas-Kilmann, Conflict Resolution Process, Getting to the Root Cause, Generating Options & Building a Solution, Managing Emotions, Assertiveness, Understanding team dynamics-Johari Window, Managing a team, The Role of the Leader/Team Member and the other important case studies through the presentation.
Deepika Sharma came up with a formal presentation on the subject and during the session ‘Team building’ was discussed and explained by the speakers.
The participants learned & enjoyed the activities created during the session and through feedback mentioned that it was very interactive, where the participants had real-life situations to discuss and the speakers were able enough to satisfy the queries.
