Industrial visit to Verka Milk Plant

Jalandhar, April 7, 2024: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) always makes consistent efforts to enhance the practical skills and knowledge of the students. In continuation with this practice, PG Department of Commerce and Business Administration organized an industrial visit to Verka Milk Plant, Jalandhar.
The objective of the visit was to give industrial exposure to the students of M.Com Sem II, M.Com Sem IV, B.Com Sem VI and B.B.A Sem VI. During the visit, students got first-hand information regarding the manufacturing, processing and packaging of milk, curd, butter, desi ghee and kheer.
The plant visit was conducted under guidance of Mr. Kuldeep and other staff members at plant. They showcased the milk receiving section, operation section, milk packaging section, dispatch section, automation and control room. The students also had question – answer round during which they cleared their doubts regarding the manufacturing process.Students found this visit very informative and interesting.
Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated Dr. Neeraj Maini, Head PG Dept. of Commerce and the faculty for having organized a fruitful educational visit to such a well-reputed organization.
Ritu , Assistant Professor along with other faculty members Dr. Prachi Tiwari, Sanjana and Girisha accompanied the students.
