Ludhiana: A meeting of Shiromani Akali Dal Industry and Trade Wing was held at its headquarters in Chandigarh under the chairmanship of Sukhbir Singh Badal President Shiromani Akali Dal in which NK Sharma President Industry and Trade Wing Shiromani Akali Dal, Sarup Chand Singla Secretary General Industry and Trade Wing, Gurmeet Singh Kular, Chaudhary Madan Lal Bagga and Rajinder Singh Marwaha Senior Vice President Industry and Trade Wing, had important discussions regarding the problems faced by them. A 5-member advisory committee was also formed.
Today the business community is most disturbed and there is no one to take their gist. Sukhbir Singh Badal said that Shiromani Akali Dal will stand firm with the industrialists in this hour of crisis. Various issues were marked most vulnerable seeking utmost attention. These issues are as under: Immediate solution for all land enchantment notices of focal points by PSIEC; assuring the supply of electricity to industry at Rs.5 per unit; pending VAT refunds from State Government; GST Refunds; and controlling diesel and petrol prices.
