Innocent Hearts celebrated Dharohar, the Essence of Our Priceless Heritage
Honored Meritorious Students at Annual Prize Distribution Function
Jalandhar, November 23, 2024: Under the aegis of Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, Disha—An Initiative hosted its annual award ceremony with the cultural program themed Dharohar at Innocent Hearts School, Green Model Town.The event featured the prestigious LEAP (Leadership Excellence in Academic Performance) Awards 2024 with enthusiastic participation from students across all five schools.
The Chief Guest, Sunil Kumar Yadav (Deputy Director In-charge, Sub-Regional Office, Employees’ State Insurance Corporation, Jalandhar), inaugurated the ceremony. The event began with the ceremonial lamp lighting accompanied by the chanting of Maa Saraswati mantras by dignitaries. This was followed by mesmerizing performances by students, who showcased the vibrancy and diversity of Indian culture through dances portraying various festivals celebrated across the country.
Dr. Palak Gupta Bowry (Director CSR) highlighted the commendable efforts of Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust under *Disha: an initiative, focusing on the organization's contributions in education and healthcare. She emphasized the trust's dedication to youth development, integrating technology into teaching methods, and bringing innovation to the education sector.
The Chief Guest, Sunil Kumar Yadav, along with Dr. Anup Bowry (Chairman, Innocent Hearts Group), Dr. Chander Bowry (Finance Secretary), and Dr. Palak Gupta Bowry honored students who achieved over 90% marks in the CBSE Class 10th and 12th examinations. Additionally, Dinesh Aggarwal and Dr. Palak awarded the Student of the Year titles to Gurmannat Kaur (Green Model Town), Bhavesh Rehan (Loharan), and Navleen Kaur (Nurpur), in memory of late Smt Kamlesh Bowry the founder director of Innocent Hearts. These students received trophies along with a cash prize of ₹5100.
The best performers in dance, music, acting, and science and technology from all five schools were also recognized and awarded by trustees such as Sandeep Jain, Finance Advisor K.K. Sareen, and other dignitaries. Scholarships were distributed to deserving students, further encouraging academic excellence.
The Chief Guest praised the vibrant cultural performances and appreciated the trust's efforts for societal welfare, emphasizing its commitment to the holistic development of children. On this occasion Shally Bowry (Executive Director, Schools & HR), Aradhana Bowry (Executive Director, Colleges), Dr. Rohan Bowry (Deputy Director, Medical Science), and other members of the *Bowry Memorial Trust*were present.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks to the Chief Guest, who was presented with a token of appreciation. A well-coordinated stage hosted by the students .The event concluded on a patriotic note with the National Anthem.
