Innocent Hearts celebrated Online Diwali
Students take pledge to celebrate eco- friendly Diwali
Jalandhar: The students of Innocent Hearts School, Management and B.Ed. College celebrated virtual Diwali with great zeal and enthusiasm. Various activities and competitions were organized through Google Meet and ZOOM. The students of Management College made beautiful diyas in ‘Earthen lamps and Candle Decoration competitions’ using organic colours with decorative materials. The rich heritage and culture was showcased by the students in Folk Dance Competition.
In online activities the students of Grade XII as well as students of College participated in Rangoli making competition. They made traditional designs of Rangoli using colours, flowers, rice and pulses. The students pledged to celebrate Anti-cracker and Eco-Friendly Diwali by ‘Saying No to Crackers’. They promised that they will motivate people in their neighborhood to celebrate anti cracker Diwali.
The students of school made beautiful Torans in ‘Toran Making’ activity. They exhibited their skills in making Sweets in Non- Fire Sweet making activity. The students were taught the art of wrapping gifts from ‘Best out of Waste’ to enhance their inner capabilities and capacities. Objective behind these activities is to eliminate the darkness within our lives and fill it with love and light.
