Innocent Hearts celebrated Rakshabandhan, a festival symbolizing the unbreakable bond between brothers and sisters

All five schools of Innocent Hearts (Green Model Town, Loharan, Nurpur Road, Cantt.- Jandiala Road and Kapurthala Road) celebrated the festival of Raksha Bandhan with great enthusiasm with various activities.

Jalandhar, August 29, 2023:  All five schools of Innocent Hearts (Green Model Town, Loharan, Nurpur Road, Cantt.- Jandiala Road and Kapurthala Road) celebrated the festival of Raksha Bandhan with great enthusiasm with various activities.  All the children of Pre-primary school Innokids, from learners to scholars, were made to do Rakhi making activity under 'Thread of Love'.  Children brought rakhi-making materials like molly, ribbon, silk thread, pearls, stars etc. from home and with the help of their teachers in the class, everyone along with their friends made their rakhi.  Rakhis were made for the soldiers by the children of grades I and II. The girls tied rakhis to the boys dressed in soldiers' costumes.  'Rakhi card-making activity for relatives and friends' was conducted for the children of grades III and IV.  'Bestmates' activity was conducted for the children of Class V in which they made a 'collage of sweet memories cherished with brothers and sisters'.  The children of grade VI were asked to write a few lines on 'Rakshabandhan a symbol of unbreakable love between brothers and sisters'.  Plate decoration, activity was done for the children of class VII.  The thali decoration done by the female students and the beautiful rakhis made by them were highly appreciated by everyone.  While doing all these activities, the enthusiasm of the children was palpable.  In all classes, the teachers told the children that this festival was a symbol of unbreakable love and trust between brothers and sisters.  On this day, sisters tie a rakhi on their brother's wrist and pray for their long life and prosperity, while brothers promise to protect  their sister from all troubles.  The teachers congratulated the children on Raksha Bandhan, they explained the importance of this festival and asked them to celebrate every festival with great enthusiasm.
