Jalandhar, August 24, 2024: Innocent Hearts School celebrates Shri Krishan Janmashtami in all its five schools (Green Model Town, Loharan, Cantt Jandiala Road, Noorpur , and Kapurthala Road). A special assembly was organized on this occasion. The decoration of the cradle with flowers and swinging BalGopal was a special attraction. The little ones, dressed as Krishna and Gopis, stole everyone's hearts. The students of the Symphony Club sang the bhajan 'Nand Ke Anand Bhayo' and remembered God. The children danced to Krishna's bhajans and filled the entire atmosphere with Krishna's presence. While portraying Krishna's childhood stories, some students presented the character of Sudama, showcasing his friendship with Krishna, while others showed the lifting of the Govardhan mountain. The students also depicted the killing of Kaliya Naag, breaking the pot, and the Raas Leela of Vrindavan through dance performances. The leelas based on Krishna's stories mesmerized everyone. At the end of the program, prasad was distributed. All school principals congratulated the children on Shri Krishna Janmashtami and asked them to follow the path of Karma shown by Krishna . On this occasion, Deputy Director Cultural Affairs of Innocent Hearts Group, Ms. Sharmila Nakra, said that the purpose of organizing such activities is to connect children with their culture, inculcate cultural values, and spiritual values in them.
