Innocent Hearts College of Education celebrated National Unity Day
Jalandhar, October 30, 2021: The NSS unit of Innocent Hearts College of Education, Jalandhar celebrated National Unity day to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and for instilling a sense of belonging to our nation in the hearts of every citizen of India.
A pledge taking ceremony was organized to provide the student-teachers an opportunity for reaffirming their inherent strength and resilience to stand against threats to the national unity, integrity and security of our nation INDIA. Patriotic solo singing and solo dance performances were also organized on the theme of ‘Unity in Diversity'. Komal sang the patriotic song ‘Salaam India, Jhuke tere aage sar’ with great zeal and fervour. The student-teachers of NSS unit danced very gracefully on the song beats of 'Mera Des Rangeela'. Principal Dr. Arjinder Singh in his speech highlighted the importance of unity by explaining that unity is strength and the onus of keeping India united is on the shoulders of our student-teachers i.e. would-be teachers.
