Innocent Hearts College of Education welcomed New Year 2024 with glee and gaiety
The student-teachers of Innocent Hearts College of Education welcomed the New Year with the title ‘Skilled India 2024’ incorporating the theme "Augmenting the cognitive, creative and imaginative skills amongst the would-be teachers for a better future”.
Jalandhar, December 31, 2023: The student-teachers of Innocent Hearts College of Education welcomed the New Year with the title ‘Skilled India 2024’ incorporating the theme "Augmenting the cognitive, creative and imaginative skills amongst the would-be teachers for a better future”.
Various competitions like best out of waste competition, bottle decoration creativity, bouquet making inventiveness and poetical symposium were organized which aimed at providing work education and experiential learning to the student-teachers. All the student-teachers prepared artistic items of economic value for gifting and decorating on the New Year eve.
The celebrations started with a prayer ceremony in which all prayed to the almighty for being blessed with peace, prosperity, intellect, wisdom and well-being. The fragrance of aromatic flowers refreshed the atmosphere when the student-teachers prepared vibrant bouquets. The whole campus was decorated beautifully with sparkling colorful lights and the garden imbued with fun-filled balloons.
The student-teachers shared their emotions through mesmerizing songs and self-composed poems. New Year resolutions were taken to dream big, stay positive, to work constructively and so on. Beautiful cards were created and gifted by student-teachers. The celebration continued with best wishes and blessings from Principal Dr. Arjinder Singh and the faculty members.
Sarika achieved first prize in decoration contest. Diksha achieved first prize in bouquet- making competition. Tanya and Yashika Jain bagged first position in making wind chimes with waste material. All wished each other peace, harmony, prosperity and well-being in the coming year and in the years to come.
