On the occasion of National Science Day, the Medical Science Department of Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions, in collaboration with the Red Ribbon Club and NSS Unit, successfully organized a workshop on Basic Life Support (BLS) in the Horizon Hall (Auditorium).

Jalandhar, February 27, 2025: On the occasion of National Science Day, the Medical Science Department of Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions, in collaboration with the Red Ribbon Club and NSS Unit, successfully organized a workshop on Basic Life Support (BLS) in the Horizon Hall (Auditorium).
The session was conducted by Dr. Ayushi Singh, who provided valuable insights into essential life-saving techniques. The purpose of this workshop was to equip students with crucial medical emergency response skills and create awareness about life-saving interventions.
The workshop covered vital medical emergency techniques, including how to recognize and respond to pulmonary obstruction, the immediate steps to take when a person experiences cardiac arrest, and the correct procedure for performing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Students were also introduced to the fundamentals of CPR techniques and the use of a Defibrillation Device to restore normal heart function in critical situations.
Dr. Ayushi Singh provided a live demonstration of CPR, emphasizing the importance of quick response and proper technique in saving lives. The session was highly interactive, allowing students to engage in practical learning experiences. The workshop reinforced the significance of science in healthcare and emergency response, highlighting the role of medical preparedness in everyday life.
