Jalandhar, October 21, 2023: Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions, Loharan, conducted a workshop on ‘Multi Media’ for the students of the Department of Information Technology.
The resource person was Prem Prakash, Video Editor and VFX Artist, Tech Cadd Computer Education Pvt. Ltd. The session mainly covered Graphics Designing, 3D Animation and Video Editing. The session provided a comprehensive platform for participants to delve deep into the world of multimedia and explore its creative potential. The students also learned about multimedia tools and software. The session was also attended by Rahul Jain, Dy Director Schools and Colleges, Punit Kumari, HoD IT and members of teaching faculty.
In addition to the above, to celebrate the Navratri festivities, the School of Hotel Management, conducted a workshop on Navratri Food for its students. One of the members of the teaching faculty, Chef Manik Basra, oriented the students on making roasted peanut chaat, masala makhana, cutlets with banana chips, aloo paneer ki sabzi, vrat ki poori and sabudana kheer. The chef explained the Navratri food’s cultural significance and the various spices, herbs and ingredients that can be used in this cuisine. The students had the exposure of the numerous and novel dishes that can be prepared during observation of fasts. The interactive session led to an interesting experience for the students who tried their hand under the supervised guidance.
Gagandeep Humpal, HoD Hotel Management, congratulated and applauded the combined efforts of the chef mentor and the students.
Rahul Jain, Dy Director Schools and Colleges, gave away the certificates to the deserving candidates. The workshop was a complete success.
