Innocent Hearts Group organised 'Create Eco-Friendly Ganesha' Competition; Students conveyed message of environmental conservation
Under the aegis of Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, 'Disha - An Initiative' and Sustainable Development Goal-13 Climate Action, Innocent Hearts Group organized an online 'Create Eco-Friendly Ganesha' contest. Students showcased their artistic talent and creativity, promoting environmental conservation.
Jalandhar, September 20, 2024: Under the aegis of Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, 'Disha - An Initiative' and Sustainable Development Goal-13 Climate Action, Innocent Hearts Group organized an online 'Create Eco-Friendly Ganesha' contest. Students showcased their artistic talent and creativity, promoting environmental conservation.
The competition aimed to sensitize students towards environmental protection. Participants used eco-friendly materials like clay, natural colors, newspaper, and recycled materials to create attractive Ganesha idols.
A total of 156 entries were received, and the top 6 entries were awarded. Four students from Green Model Town were felicitated by Director CSR Dr. Palak Gupta Bowry, Deputy Director Cultural Affairs Mrs. Sharmila Nakra, and Principal Rajeev Paliwal. Two students from Kapurthala Road were awarded by Director Poonam Narang and Principal Sheetu Khanna.
The winners received a cash prize of ₹1100, certificates, and a tea light candle holder.
Dr. Palak Gupta Bowry emphasized that such competitions not only encourage students' art and creativity but also instill environmental responsibility.
